Inside The Artist Studio

Inside the Artist Studio is an original video series that offers viewers a glimpse into the diverse and vibrant artistic community thriving within the shared workspace of The Arts Warehouse. It takes them on a behind-the-scenes tour of each local artists’ studio, where they work and create. The audience will get an intimate look at the artists' studio and tools while hearing from the artists themselves as they share their inspirations and challenges. Each episode focuses on a different artist, showcasing their unique style and creative process as they work on various projects.

Capturing the story of a process based artist

In 2017, we traveled to New York City to film Renee Phillips in her studio over the course of several days. Our mission was to capture enough high quality cinematic content to tell Renee’s story in documentary form as well as create a shorter brand film that she could use on her website and advertising campaigns. What we accomplished was film and photography that continues to prove it’s worth today, in 2025. These films are incredibly powerful and the photography has not only been used for her social media and website outlets, but has also been printed in local magazines such as The Atlantic Current’s Annual Art Issue.
